During his lifetime, Vincent van Gogh created around 900 paintings but, reportedly, only sold one painting, Red Vineyard at Arles.
This painting was signed with Vincent van Gogh’s own blood from his cut off ear at the bottom right fictitiously, while he was at the hospital after cutting off his own ear.
